. The emulator is OK.. I believe youre talking about WineX, but it is hard to configure. There is no faster performance (especially with mandrake, its barely a step up from Windows, I guess redhat, fedora, mandrake are all linux for noobs, for example their gui is just like windows, and you dont even have to even TOUCH the terminal if you dont want) because just as many resources are being taken up for the gui unless youre running something like slackware. I'm not trying to discourage you but I'm warning you, your experience on mandrake will either be great and you stick with it, or very quickly youll say "fuck this" and return to windows. Oh yeah.. did I mention free software?
