I actually like both of those. They look like renders, and if they are you were both creative and that's a plus. I'd have to say your friend's looks better, but only because of the text on yours.

I like them both, think they are fantastic. However I do like the second one better just for the fact that the dark color on the first seems to drown out the detail.
