true vector? iunno
i think it could be smoothed out a little more, in terms of the shapes made by the individual shades and tints of color, but maybe that is what you were looking for.
also, i think more shades and tints would be better because, thats the way it is and the index finger is hard to distinguish from the rest of the fist.
all that aside, it does look good. dont forget that.

actually from the look of it, it looks like he just used the cutout filter. That may not be true though
