Space Scene

I stumbelled upon Greg Martin his gallery and saw a few tuts.

It's still in progress but where should I put another planet??

More help please, I made this comet, but I have NO idea where to put it...

first i would suggest that you start over with your comet. It looks more like a cloud than anything. And compared to the size of that planet, that comet is probably more like a moon lol.

So yea, go back, and redo the comet. Then for placement, maybe place it in more of a background position, not the thing that is going to catch your eye (unless you want that)

The comets zise and direction should of been altered in the progress of this work, but I have found other tutorils that provide more interactive and realistic asteroids.

I got to go now.

christ man, it's fantastic, I really wanna know how you do that because for my next picture I wanna do a space theme but I have had some trouble finding any tutorials, can ya give me a link to one or the brushes ya used?
One think I think you can improve on is that the stars are a little too defined in my opinion, perhaps add a really weak gaussian blur to them to make them look slightly less sharp so they blend into the galaxy a bit more, other than that, it's superb
