I guess im done with graphic art for a little while...
Well, as i type this, i sit with a splint on my right hand. >.< My mother, who works and maintains all the computer systems for the Longs Drug Store Corperation, developed some wrist and hand problems from spending a lot of her time at work on her computer, and it seems after a 4 and a half hour of just drawing i've started to develope the same thing, so im going to be taking a break from graphic art...

My right hand and wrist feels like someone snapped it and stretched it out and i put my mums splint on it to keep it steady, i dont know what the fuck is happened to it, but my sketch pad lays neglected now... >.<

Hope you get better man. I'm currently doing my Homework and I really can't feel my right hand. So yeah, give it a rest and hope you get better.

its been like this increasingly worse. Its too the point where i cant even last an hour of drawing when i used to be able to sit around my schools campus and draw for three hours straight (i have some long breaks some days... one day i even had a 5 hour break.)

Im going to stop using it extensively as its taken a beating lately... but yeah.

Not good, I've fractured my wrist before, annoying as fuck I know. Hope you feel better soon cause i know how bad it must be without the use of an arm/hand :-/.

yick, that stinnks. sorry bout the wrist, it could be carpeltunnel or how ever you spell it which isnt any fun at all. you should probably go to a doctor or somthing ya know. hope it gets better soon

broken wrist and then broke the arm like 10 months and 5 days later

no carpel = bones in your fingers . Therefore carpeltunnel is a disease in which your hands become crippled.

well that sucks I wonder if it is a genitic thing.

I guess ive always been lucky that ive never broken a bone. and I am double jointed in a few of my fingers.

well i have two joints in my fingers plus a knuckle...
there is no such thing as double jointed, its just flexibility

actuially double joint is just extra cartiledge aroudn the bone, thus making it more flexible. e

i just want to know what your going to do instead akule. Are you just not going to be on the computer as much, or not drawing as much. i would like to see your take up more programming.

Im going to try and start learning css, and move my way up to php. Im just not drawing because my wrist and hand and fingers and everything just starts to really hurt, even when i only draw for like a half hour straight i start feeling it.

o.O i think its something to do with the fact that i broke my wrist a while ago, and i never got a "real" cast because it was only a fracture. Whatever it is, i got a doctors appointment weds. at 8 am (>.<) to get an xray and check on things.

Heh you got the same thing I got then. Like I said before I fractured my wrist, it still hurts if i bend it a certian way or put to much strain on it. They put me in a splint at first and then a small arm cast, and i didn't think the doctor knew what he was doing :-/.

that sucks! ouch!

akule told me he got a brace for his wrist which helps alot. hope he doesnt futher hurt himself.

Well, I hope he gets well soon. We were planning a collab but with his wrist all jacked up, I doubt it's going to happen soon.
