Once I get my wacom I will be making a lot more large pieces

but again I'm not one of those punk kids that makes a shit sig in 10 min like every day. And use some trendwhored render and some brushes I downloaded off of deviantArt. I've been spending 1-2 hours on my signatures, making them as perfected as I can, using my own photographs and my own brushes and different styles. I try.

but yeah I understand that it's not "art" in your eyes and I need to get some bigger pieces done. I know. 1 more week. No school in 1....more....fucking week

my grandma takes good pictures too, doesn't make her an artist...

sorry to anyone that loves photography...i just feel that it's only purpose is to be made into something cool on a computer...at least from an artistic sense

photography takes tones of skill. You have to KNOW how to use the camera, you have to be in the right place, and you have to find the right angle to take the picture. And i believe photography is definately an art form.

i have developed photos, and it's not that difficult, it just takes time
and like sicloan said...photography is all about being in the right place...which is just as easily a mistake as it is a skill...therefore, unless the photo can move me, or show me things that no other photo before it has, i don't consider it art

photography is by far my favorite kind of art, it doesnt matter where you are, you can take a picture of anything basicly and have it turn out to be an amazing photograph. photos are more breath taking to me than anything made on a freaking computer because wahts in the pic is real and it exists unlike fuckin pixels on a computer screen. dont tell me photography isnt art because thats just bs. developing pictures isnt as simple as mixing the chemicals and putting the negative into a projector.. it takes time and experimentation to get the right amount of light and time to get the best quality, which is very rewarding in the end... much mroe so than a stupid sig.

movies and games are not art. Theyre animation / cinematography. Theres a huge difference. Yes some movies and games are so beautiful they could be *consittered* art, but i defintaely dont think they are.
