An idea with some merit...

Mail Art. Or Pen Pals. Think of it however you want.

This man is absolutely the methodological inspiration for this. I had some inkling to begin mailing things to people for some time but the motion picture How To Draw A Bunny (about Johnson) has absolutely spurred me to action.
Right now I'm kind of amassing a bunch of things to send to people (4 or 5 envelopes) but I hope to get letters in response and then I can return, and so on. I'm sending a lot of writing so far with very little imagery but I think that it will slowly creep in as I see fit to add things.
So the idea part and relevance to this site is: Why don't we begin something like this? I see the similarities to (problems with) the VDChain but even with our love of digital technology somehow I think that a letter sitting on a desk will get more attention than an email or a thread that we quickly lose sight of.

I'll start it off, why not.

Is it really good to be posting our addresses on the intarwebz for all sorts of noobies to find? I'm not about to get a box of dog shit mailed to my house. I'm all down for this idea, i just don't want to get weird shit mailed to me from people that don't frequent this board.
