if the design is too over the top i agree with bit, but a lot of times it's pretty tastefully done. and threadless tees cost practically nothing to some brand name t-shirts.

the most flamboyant thing about my outfits are the mid-calf length black socks. other than that. t-shirt and khaki cargos and some nike skate styles or jordans. also, cloth belts=superior.

I have a couple cloth belts, but I'm bad at using them so I tend to just make a knot. I also have an old leather belt, that's gotten damaged and torn and stuff, that I wear with jeans.

@bit-- that's not neccessarily a bad thing to me. if it's a kickass piece then isn't it better that someone wears it everywhere to be seen and admired by many people permanently, than lost underneath the epicly(sp?) proportioned landfill of LPs on the countless art gallery sites, that are only frequented by an obscure sub-culture anyway? it's not the concept of art shirts that makes them suck. it's the person wearing them. and that collective group is fairly varied.

You put the belt through the loops around the pants. You take the side without the two metal loops (from here on out called 2moops for simplicity), hold it in left hand. Take the side with empty cloth (it should be coming out the ride side of your pant loops), and slide it UNDER and IN the 2moops all the way, keeping it tight enough to hold up pants. Then you wrap emptycloth back DOWN towards the MIDDLE of the 2moops (effectively making it 1moop+1moop with emptyclotch coming in from left side to right side). Pull emptycloth tight, and it should be set.
