Pure hotness to my ears.

Edit: Don't be nay sayers if you haven't listened or if you are Doctor.

Doctor, your opinion is void, or as you would say! "grab a kleenex and listen up: WHAT THE FLYING FUCK MAKES YOU THINK YOUR OPINION IS WORTH ANYTHING?"

You obviously lack the ability to stop being a fucking asshole.

Re: music discussion and all that noise

I hate Soilwork. Tune tried to get me to listen to some song he said was sex, but even that song I couldn't get into.

By all means, from my tunnel syndrome of music, I SHOULD like them, but I can't stand them. Horribly overrated, in my opinion.

And I saw that Barney movie when I was ten, so STFU. I liked it. And no, I'm not kidding. I still have it (ok...my little brother who hasn't watched it sicne he was 4 has it...but same thing).

It wasn't, I'll get them from you on AIM later.

Listening to the songs:

Peruvian Skies by Dream Theater
Walking By A Wire by Katatonia

Dream Theater's a great band, espcially if you like Opeth. It's like a more mature, un-metal-er Opeth, but still great.

And I just listened to some new doom metal band that is supposed to be secks, called SUNN O)), but they just suck. I hate doom metal.

Re: music discussion and all that noise

haha, glad you took my advice!

Doctor, go fuck yourself, please. Maybe then you'll finally get some pussy. Seriously, so what if I don't listen to rap? I listen to a lot more shit that I don't even tell you, so screw you. It's still good music, and that's all that matters. It doesn't matter the genre, as long as it's good. Why can't you get that through your head? Let's see...something like the Grateful Dead being similiar to something like...Opeth? What do they have in commen anyways, buddha? The fact that they are music??

And Swallow the Sun is the only exception. They rock face and had to be bought for great justice!

Re: music discussion and all that noise

I've gotten a lot more pussy than you man, go kill yourself. I'm saying you should listen to more shit now, in the future you're just gonna hear the same shit, over and over. over and over and over again. I can see it now, "Wow. this new band The Pillowcase Massacre is really different. they talk about death naturally, and other lyrics that nobody but the 80 year-old producer can understand. I'm really expanding my horizons with TPM". you're going to be tired of the shit you're listening to, and because you never listened to anything else you're not going to give anything else a chance; therefore stopping your music interest in general, and that's bullshit.

but now I'm thinking you'd just be better off not listening to any music at all, because you seem like a pretty shitty piece of work. HAH! work, more like an accident!

EDIT - and in BR a guy gets an axe stuck in his head, and then another guy exclaims "ARE YOU OKAY!?"

Yeah man, I got pussy at the ripe age of 14.

You are both equally biased about your metal bands.

I meant that he had a vagina, but whatever man.

But you still miss the point that I'm not listening to the same thing over again.

That's like saying that by preferring adventure novels, over mystery, you're limiting yourself. You're not, because you can still read good adventure books.

I know you don't listen to country music. Do I get a dildo up my ass everytime you mention some Indie band, and no western music? No. So why do you have to do it every time I mention a band?

And what's with predicting my life, and how I'm gonna go through it? I'm gonna lose interest in music, by listening to the music I like? Christ, I never said that I listened to the same exact songs every day. Save that shit for the radio fags. I have no idea where you're getting these ideas from. I mean, come on man. Your opinion is more full of it than goaste!

Explain how I limit myself, when one minute ago I listen to the Dust Brothers, and now I'm listening to Meshuggah's I.
I still want you to draw parallels between those. Stop ignoring what I'm asking, and actually prove yourself, you worm.

And for the record, Swallow the Sun was totally me, and it is one of the best debut albums I've heard in a while.

I never said you were listening to the same songs everyday, I was talking about genre. Dust Brothers and Meshuggah, eh? What bullshit, you might not know already (also known as being mentally hilarious) but let me list your favorites:

Iron Maiden
Metallica
Apocolyptica
Pantera
In Flames
Megadeth
Rammstein

wow, I couldn't possibly understand the depths of your taste, you must be some kind of genius. let's compare to mine:

Farmer Boys
VAST
Pinback
Aphex Twin
John Williams
Sybreed
DJ Shadow

I guess I shouldn't have insulted you man, sorry, I guess I have no right to talk I guess.

I think suicide has been given a bad rap over the years, and I think you have a false perception of it and should consider this scenario.

if you've ever thought about the act of suicide, should instead of trying to rationalize the concept with your inexperienced mind, should aquire the experience by attempting the act atleast once, I truly believe that one try will be enough, but it has to be a good try.

Re: music discussion and all that noise

*because i know everyone would like ME more if i had good taste in music.
and, if i made sure that everyone not only knew that...but that they knew that their taste in music, was clearly...not as good as mine.

what happens...when you meet someone with better taste in music then you?
do you simply bow, and admit defeat? do you commit suicide? --as you so kindly suggested to bit? or do you desperately attempt to defend your preferences...for reasons you can't even begin to explain?

i'll assume you just thoroughly enjoy arguing. and say:
"i'm listening to motion city soundtrack. because it sounds nice, and it fits the mood. i don't know who any of the bands you guys listed are, but if it's metal and/or rap, i'm not interested.
do you guys know of any supergood acoustic/indie bands?"

yeah I do actually, but that suicide thing goes a long way between me and him. we aren't really being mean to eachother, but if we are, I'm gonna have to wait a few more years to get my CDs out of his trunk.

well I don't know many 100% acoustic bands (Bright Eyes isn't all acoustic either), but I know a few good indie bands.
