Re: music discussion and all that noise

i listened to 'tv on the radio' and 'the walkmen' so far. the walkmen reminded me of the arcade fire with a little more pep to them, and tv on the radio...i can't really relate to anything, but i really like them both.
especially tv on the radio.
i haven't listened to the rest because that download site was being a pain in the ass, so i was gonna wait until later tonite or sometime tomorrow.

Re: music discussion and all that noise

Doctor, I told you to check out that Surfjan Stevans guy just tonight. Even luxo mentioned thme on one of his lasts posts of the previous page. Listen at last.fm or something. >:C

And, the list of my favorite music is kinda bullshit, but whatever. VAST is definately up there, along with Opeth. And the Grateful Dead. But whatever. I know you took that list off of last.fm. Just knew one thing: It's hard to find the exact bands I like on there, and you know my computer sucks with that last.fm plug-in. So my "favorites" are pretty damn biased.

Only listened to Iron maiden 41 times my ass!

P.S.- Go Kill Yourself

you told me to look up Sufjan Stevens, who to be honest sounds like some middle-eastern gospel garbage.

and about the FTI thing.

Re: music discussion and all that noise

i downloaded a lot of this TV on the Radio group. i like them a lot.

and with sufjan stevens, try to get ahold of "the predatory wasp of the palisades is out to get us!" and "chicago" if you don't like those songs, you won't like sufjan stevens. i love him, it's especially good music to just kinda get lost in while working on some graphics.

Staring At the Sun was voted one of the top 10 indie songs of all time, so there you go.

The Rise.

Refuse.

Two bands. The Rise actually has the singer from DCFC and The Postal Service.

...is refuse a heavy band? like really heavy? because that's all i could find.
and i'm currently searching limewire for the rise...all i could find on google was an image of their CD cover.

and doctor, i can definitely understand your point. i don't entirely agree, but i can see how it'd wear on you.

Re: music discussion and all that noise

Some of those are good. (Bright Eyes, Death From Above, My Chemical, Panic!, then again haven't listened to half of them and the other percentage I would rather not listen to).

To avoid any bitching.
The My Chemical Romance CD, it was never bad, anyone who says it is bad either says that because A) It was on MTV B) Not their music.

Ohh yeah

PS. if you don't like the bands don't bother trying to rip it outta them 'cause I love almost all of them and I'm damn excited about seeing them all.

Yeah I'm definately looking forward to it, I only just managed to get two Saturday tickets (one for me the other for my gf) last Friday off ebay so I'm pretty chuffed about that .

i used to like yellowcard. but their new music seems to entirely exclude the violinist. which was my entire motivation for listening to their music. oh well.

I listened to that Sufjan Stevens, what a bunch of bullshit. just because he's indie doesn't mean he sucks rat-cock, shame on whoever suggested him.

EDIT- and yo Luxoplus, listen to the rest of the songs I posted, not just a few. I spent a long time uploading those and they're all good songs.
