Good news

Just reformatted my computer and by some stupid ass mistake I deleted everything on my E drive.

Including every piece of art I've ever done, ever.

that sucks, but then again you'll just be making more art later, plus you have them on the interweb, so they're not lost forever.

Yes, and I said failed.

And it was a haywire reformat goddamnit. D:<

But oh well.

No more PSDs but as long as I still have them on DA I'm fine, just as long as they didn't get completely erased from everything. :\

I hate to pull the "Devilframe is rich!!! D:" line, but yeah dude, if you really want it back, this is the way to go. I doubt it would cost more than $100 max, if it's even possible to retrieve. I dunno, but if I lost htat much work (and of that quality), I'd definitely do this...

And yeah, *agrees with devilframe and psycho about a certain primate*

Re: Good news

I did the same thing a few days ago.

My roommate, a serious fanatic of Guitar Hero 2, beat the entire game on Expert with this cheat that enables him to play at an even faster. While I was saving a file under my band, I accidentally turned the PS2 off while it was saving and ended up deleting both his file and my own like right after I beat the game on Hard, and was starting on Expert. But its not the end of the world. My roommate just beat the game..again on Expert-hyper speed this afternoon and I again started on Hard. I wasn't very disappointed after I had deleted the files, though didn't intend on it. I knew I was capable of beating it again on the same difficulty, so did my roommate. You just have to move on and try to immolate that same effort. Don't worry, in no time you'll have another batch of Photoshop files spilling out of your folders.

Yeah.

I'm just glad I have them physically on a site or printed out in the real life.

Sidenote: I play on hyper speed as well on expert.

If your friend can do Jordan then he's better then I. D:

Re: Good news

Yeah, he has beaten every song on Expert that I know of. He's always showing me these YouTube videos of these kids who can conquer "Six" by All That Remains on Expert without any difficulty. I saw one addict get a 98% on that song. Personally, I love ATR and a ton of metal/emo music. But the funny thing is, even though I have been playing on Expert for almost a month, I cannot seem to beat "Six" on Hard lol; only medium. Every time I play it, my mind and heart begin to race like I'm running a marathon or something. I've tried beating it on and off for month; I'm getting better, but haven't completely beaten it yet.

On a sidenote: A friend of mine who lives in my dorm[ is like an uber game hacker. He read on the internet somewhere how to change the songs in the game and add his personal favorites. I remember him telling me how it took him literally all week to successfully add ten songs on GH2. Once he finished, we began playing a ton of awesome shit. He put up "Through the Fire and Flames" by DragonForce, "Welcome Home" by My Chemical Romance, "Californacian" by the Red Hot Chilly Peppers, two songs by Children of Bodom, and like thirty others. It totally changes the game experience once you're able to put forth your own stuff. Heh, I love this game.

I think I actually saw his profile and watched through the fire and flames in amazement, and wanted to play it so badly, it looked so damn absurd.

Six took me a real long time to beat on Expert, there were many fists thrown because of that song and my inability to beat it for so long, and then I beat it.

Dunno why, something about the pattern is just hard to friggin get.

Re: Good news

I guess "Six" is just like all the other songs. I know for a fact I didn't beat Freebird on Hard the first time I played it, even though it is remarked as the hardest song in the game. "Six" really is no different. Like any song, I suppose I'll have to adjust to the patterns of notes and beat.

Every time I play it, half way through I just want to drop the Guitar and listen to it. I've been to there myspace on countless occasions just listening to that song along with others. Its just an awesome song. I want that album too. When I come back to Atlanta this weekend for Spring Break I am definitely going to the music store :P

Re: Good news

Hehe.

I like the softer guitar part mid way through the song, its just seems so perfect being right smack dab in the middle of all those heavy riffs, and then that short solo after is very fun.
