I haven't gotten around to smoothing the polys out, but for some reason when I render with Mental Ray it smooths it for me; so maybe I don't need to.

When I went to make an oclussion the ambient light wasn't hitting the car correctly so I dropped a wall in and cut the car in half to make the lighting work. It still didn't fully show the details though, but this will do for now.

Note: there is no difference between those two models other than applied shaders and which render plugin I used as well as quality settings.
