I really like the text on that first sig.. looks great! as well as the 4th sig, that one looks hawt.

Welcome to the forum!

And i suggest trying some 3d stuff, i would give you so much more props on thos dev pieces if you made the 3d. But since you used someone elses renders, and just did brushing, i dunno, they dont really do anything for me.

Yeah, i understand ya.. But i got AMD64 :/, ive tried a lot of times to model out, but it dies in the rendering because amd sucks for rendering, im trying to get a p4 or something, it would be a lot more confourtable if id made my own renders, but so far i cant afford a p4..

Lets just say, what you render in 5seconds (really 5 seconds), i render up in 7mins.

PD:@1st sig - Added the tear and changed color hair on photoshop, no tuts

AMD doesnt suck for rendering, they're just not as good as SOME P4s. Personally, I'd stay stick with the AMD and get some more RAM or a new video card.

Actually it does, and very hard.

Specs:
Dual Corsair 512 pc3200 RAM
Ati Radeon 9600XT VidCard
AMD 64bits 2800+

Each time i try to model up, the render previews itself slowass, REALLY slow, and each time i add shaders, appart from the amd being slowass

.. it goes *not enough memory*.

This is the only piece i was able to do modeling (this is from long time ago) :

Why does amd64 suck so much at rendering? i would swear that it would kick a p4's butt... oh well, luckly i have a p4 i guess!

Why do you think AMD is 1/4 the price of P4? It just runs at 64bits and its the fastest procesator on gaming, but it sucks in features like sound, rendering, and more stuff.

d.Jd.b, AMD processors are 1/4 of p4s? Uhhh.. sorry dude, they aren't. I do believe the new FXs are about 900$, and the new p4 XT tech geek editions are about 920$ or so. AMD and p4s are compared like this. Think of the p4 as a big big big truck, and the AMD as a small pickup. The big p4 will move more at once in one trip than the AMD, but the AMD will be able to accomplish many trips in the time it takes the P4 to do one. I would never sell an AMD for a p4, especially not with all the new technologies coming out. I have a p4 right now, and let me tell you, amd is looking pretty good. Great processors for great deals.

Compare with what you have to compare, compare a amd3200 of 64bits with a 3200 ht.

PD: 1/4 its an expression, noob. what i meant to say its way less expensive, look p4 prices with amd's. Plus, you cant compare the best amd with a normal p4.

Note: i dont care of FX or whatever, im talking about amd is bad at rendering, when you get my 2800+, and render a model, we talk about it k? drop the subject.
