I like his ideas about the VDC dA thing, but the problem is, we've lost a bunch of people who do real art, and instead opt out to do simpler sigs, which isn't necessarily the best aspect of the site (just my opinion, I know others will disagree)

bit, the problem is. LPs take a shitload of work, and are harder than sigs. so it's not neccessarily a choice. besides, even the LP doers here are nothing to write home about, so the only way we're going to get members is if we have some turribly talented LP artists.

I thoroughly recognize such an obstenantly awful issue, but I tend to digress rather, in favor of the opinion that such members should "suck it up" as it are, and spend the time and dedication to perpetuate the site, rather than continue this merciless infatuation with signature artwork, if it can even be called that subjectively.

Maybe we should just make this site a forum for good conversation*; we have plenty of that. And we don't have nearly enough of the quality of and volume of art that successful art sites have, nor do I think we will have that combo in the future.

I have a dA... and I'm pretty popular i guess. 5.6 thousand views. I can advertise this site, or maybe advertise for a dA account for VDC.
We can have folders for every members or something... we submit it to the account and put them in the right folders. We can have our own original GFX group members, huh?
I think this would be a fun project.

he's insinuating you're a doctor clone and try to make your sigs "artistic" on purpose, just for the sake of being artistic and different.
