i cant make it work:(

when i do all the things that stands there i can see th rust why?? i dont know and im an photoshop CS user incase that woud help... AND im an new member

Dental_nitro~

Which part are you stuck on and i can help you with it. Make sure your rust layer is the right colors and does not blend into the background. Also check to make sure your rust layer is above your metal layer.

Hey guys, first time on the forums. Very nice tutorial, mine looked exactly like yours in the end. I'm making a mod for HL2 and this site is perfect for learning textures

Hey Sicloan, great tut. I was just wondering, is there a way to reduce the visibility of the circles that show up in the finished image?

Lower the exposure would be the first step. The next would be to not click on the exact same spot.

OR, use a grunge type brush and do the same thing. This will make it look even more metallic.
