Xbox 360 Power Button


Create a new document, 640 by 480 pixels. Take #ECECEC as your foreground color, and #FFFFFF as your background color. Select the Gradient Tool, starting at the bottom left of your document, pull the gradient to the upper right corner.



Make a new layer. Take your Circular Marquee Tool and make a 350px by 350px selection in the center of your document.



Now take your gradient tool again with the same colors, start in the upper right and make a gradient down to the bottom left of the circle. Your circle will now appear to be indented. Press ctrl + D to deselect.



Now its time to make the Xbox glowing ring; start by duplicating the circle layer you just made. Now press ctrl + T to transform the layer. Change the width and height from 100% to 70%.



Set the fill percent of our 2nd circle to 0%. Now right click on the 2nd circle layer and go to blending options. Check the Outer Glow. Now use #cdfe3d as your color, with opacity of 65%. Set the blending mode to normal and change the spread to 8px and the size to 21px.



Now, click the inner glow option. Select the same color, #cdfe3d, and set the blending mode to normal. Set the opacity at 61% and choke at 0px. Also set the size at 9px.



Next click the stroke option. Set the size to 10px and change the fill type to Gradient. Set the angle at 135%.



Click on the gradient and make a new one that looks like this:



Your document should now look like this:



Now its time to make the power icon. duplicate the ring layer and press ctrl + T to transform it. Set the width and height to 20% instead of 100%.



Now right click on the small ring layer and go to blending options. Add an outer glow with a color of #aad34b, blending mode set to normal and opacity at 92%. Set the spread to 8px and the size to 18px.



Next, click on inner glow and set the color to #aad34b, the blending mode to normal, and the Set the opacity to 50%. Set the size to 1px and choke to 0px.



Lastly, click on stroke and set the size to 10px. The color to #d9fe3e and the type to color. Your document should now look like this:



Next grab the rectangle marquee tool and make a selection 10px wide and 25px tall. Place it slightly above the middle of the circle:



Make a new layer and fill that selection with the color #d9fe3e and then add an outer glow to the layer by right clicking on the layer and going to blending options. Use the same settings as the small ring.



Your document should now look like this:



Now press ctrl + click on the layer you just made. Go to select > modify > expand. Enter 10px and press OK.



With your selection highlight your first circle layer, and press ctrl + C to copy the piece of it. Now press ctrl + V to past that copied piece, which will make a new layer. Drag this new layer above the small ring layer. Now it looks like the power icon!!!
